September 23rd, 2008 - Copper Creek Golf Course

Unity for Autism’s 2008 golf tournament, presented by Bruce Power, will take place this year on Tuesday, September 23rd at the beautiful Copper Creek Golf Course in Kleinburg, only 15 minutes from Pearson Airport or 30 minutes from downtown.

Bruce Power is Canada’s first private nuclear generating company and generates enough clean electricity to power every fifth home, school and hospital in Ontario. Located approximately 250 kilometres northwest of Toronto, the company of 3,700 employees currently operates six reactor units and is in the process of restarting two more at its Bruce A generating station. Once restarted, those units will boost Bruce Power's total output to more than 6,200 megawatts of emissions-free electricity.

This event is a great display of unity, for autism, bringing many executives and corporations together for this very worthy cause. Last year our tournament raised $225,000, net from a single shotgun! We are confident that you will be thrilled to participate, as our event stands apart from many other tournaments, providing an energy and passion not witnessed very often!

Our goal is to raise $300,000 in 2008! In order to accomplish this objective, we kindly ask that your company review the corporate sponsorship opportunities outlined in the upcoming golf brochure. If everyone contributes whatever they can, we will move mountains for this cause!
